As global energy efficiency mandates grow, Delta's solution is to offer brushless DC Motor technology that is Electronically Commutated (EC) and features an integrated AC to DC inverter and magnet rotor. This results in significant power savings over traditional AC motor fans that struggle to keep newer HVAC and Commercial Refrigerator systems working efficiently. While still maintaining compatibility with current AC source inputs, our customers can achieve up to 70% power savings by utilizing Delta EC motor-based fans. Our customers can offer their end-user a HVAC or Commercial Refrigerator product with significant power savings, but without sacrificing performance.

UNIVERSAL VOLTAGE DESIGN & RELIABILITY

Beyond performance, the most critical measure of success for a HVAC or Commercial Refrigerator fan and motor is its reliability and flexibility. For more than a decade, Delta has designed its new Electronically Commutated (EC) fans and motors to operate in harsh conditions. This amounts to lab-tested estimated life times of upwards of 11 years at 60°C. The Universal Voltage Design allows operating voltages ranging from 115~230VAC, all in one model. Ensuring long-term viability, Over Voltage Protection up to 280V maximum and Ingress Protection (IP) Ratings of between IP52 to IP67 are designed into this rugged and dependable series.
