Delta IP56 Axial Fans
Delta Ingress Protection (IP) rated fans are purpose-built with superior production techniques to prevent dust and water ingress in harsh conditions. IP fans undergo the most rigorous testing against harsh environments, including:
- Rain and flooding
- Salt, fog, and moisture
- Severe dust and dirt exposure
Delta Environmental Proof Fans: In an outdoor environment, spray of water, exposure to dust particles, unexpected corrosion and high humidity, all will cause the electrical device to work improperly. Delta’s environment proof fans are designed to use a potting method to seal the PWB to isolate the outside environment. Bypassing the most common standards validation (IP and Bellcore), Delta’s environment proof fan can withstand outdoor environment or similar condition.

The IP Code classifies and rates the degrees of protection against the intrusion of solid objects, such as hands and fingers, as well as dust, accidental contact, and moisture or water.
